The low temperature and long life of the flake render this ice ideal for storing and displaying fresh seafood and other fresh produce.

Being airtight and having a high PS, the ice maker can be connected to the centralised CO₂ system in complete safety, thus eliminating the need for a freon “corner” in a supermarket that essentially uses CO₂ whilst eradicating the risk of loss of refrigerant from the CO₂ system.

Opting to produce ice at night—when the demand for cold in the cold rooms is lower—eliminates the need to excessively oversize the system.
